The next Learning Tuesday (July 6th) will be an interesting evening. I am asking everyone to write, ahead of time, a 500-1000 word story with the title My Cousin May. That’s all I’m giving you. The rest is up to you. It can be a story, a poem or a performance piece, hey, it can even be a song. Let’s have some fun, shall we?
Learning Tuesday, August 1st. Book it, Dano!
Everyone is to bring along a favourite book. You’ll have a chance to tell us why you love the book, AND you get to read an excerpt (or two, depending on time) from that book and tell us a little something about the author.

For the next Writers’ Ink Learning Tuesday, December 1st at 7:00pm, we will be treated (via DVD) to what professor Tilar J. Mazzeo, Ph.D. of Colby College has to teach us about writing great beginnings for creative nonfiction.
Since the first chapter of anything is the hardest one to write, and the one that gets the most revision, this session should prove valuable to writers in any genre.
