Please join me for my opening reception Friday, 4th December between 4:00 and 6:00 pm at The Hub on Ross (where we had the show last year, Albertan Landscapes). My show, TONAL EXERCISES IN ABSTRACT THOUGHT, is a visual and literary art exhibit. I have abstract paintings on display, as well as poetry. I’ll also read a few poems during the opening reception. I would like to make a larger poetry reading so I invite you to join me and bring a poem or two to read. The ladies at the Hub will be very happy with it.You can bring your own poem or a favorite of yours, or read the poem of another member who would like to share a poem but cannot make it to the reading.

The next Learning Tuesday (July 6th) will be an interesting evening. I am asking everyone to write, ahead of time, a 500-1000 word story with the title My Cousin May. That’s all I’m giving you. The rest is up to you. It can be a story, a poem or a performance piece, hey, it can even be a song. Let’s have some fun, shall we?
Learning Tuesday, August 1st. Book it, Dano!
Everyone is to bring along a favourite book. You’ll have a chance to tell us why you love the book, AND you get to read an excerpt (or two, depending on time) from that book and tell us a little something about the author.
