Maxine Spence – author reading at Sunworks, Red Deer March 16, 2012

Join Didsbury children’s author Maxine Spence as she reads from her book Leaf. Leaf loves spring. He doesn’t want it to ever end. But spring must give way to summer and then to autumn’s fiery beauty. As winter approaches Leaf’s friends urge him to travel away with them. A gentle story about the inevitability of change. No charge. March 16, Friday 7 p.m. at Sunworks, Red Deer, 4924 Ross Street. For more information contact Lesley Caddy at 403-341-3455.
